This week the children will be doing lots of circle time activities and linking this to the new year and new beginnings. We will be thinking about school and class rules too.
We will be assessing the children on the next two hundred high frequency words which can really support and extend a child's independent reading and writing.
The Epiphany
The children will be reviewing the story and will be learning about the story of the three wise men. We will be having a short assembly on Friday too led by Year 4.
Year 2
The children will be starting a topic on FRACTIONS for two days. On Friday we will be doing a timetables test. The children will start to learn he story of the Hare and Tortoise.
Year 1
The children will be writing winter poems and will be practising their telling the time.
